Uni-Plus can assign you a phone number in the area code or your choice (see chart for available exchanges) or can convert and migrate your existing phone number to our IP platform, so you may make and receive calls.

Hook up a Uni-Plus Nomad to your high-speed router and a basic telephone set to the Nomad or install the softphone software on your computer and enjoy unlimited outbound and inbound local calls from and to the area codes that are local to your virtual number.

• Unlimited outbound and inbound calls: $25 per month on a 12 month agreement – Virtual number included.

Additional options

• Virtual voice mail: For an additional $4 a month, voice mail can be activated so you will not miss calls while you are already on the phone or unavailable.
• Toll free number: An 800 number that matches the number assigned to you can also be provisioned for $8 per month plus 5.0¢ per minute for all calls received via the 800 number.
• Follow me call forwarding: For an additional $4 a month, have up to 5 devices/phones ring when your number is dialed.
• Long distance calls: For an additional $3.50 network access fee, you can make long distance calls form your Nomad or computer to anywhere in Canada or the United States for 4.0¢ per minute.
• Optional Star calling features: Selected Star calling features are also available. Please see the Star calling features chart for details.

Convert and go!

Remember that it is possible for you to keep and convert your existing telephone number(s) to VoIP telephony for a flat $40 (or less, depending on contract length) one-time charge for each number conversion. See chart for list of exchanges which can be managed by Uni-Plus.

1. This configuration option require that the number(s) used for such purpose be converted over to Uni-Plus. See chart for list of exchanges which can be managed by Uni-Plus. If you prefer retaining your phone number with the existing carrier, you can call forward your existing number to a number provided to you by Uni-Plus and we will convert the phone signal to computer VoIP service.
2. The term "local" refers to a call where you need not dial 1 and therefore toll charges are not applicable.
3. As Uni-Plus VoIP service is mobile, 911 service is handled differently than with traditional telephone 911 services. You are responsible for advising us each time you move your VoIP service so that your location may be updated and provided to 911 authorities. Please read the 911 Emergency Service terms of service containing important information.
