Virtual voice mail
Your business takes you all over the country and you would like a permanent number where people can leave you messages, which you can then conveniently retrieve from anywhere? The Uni-Plus Virtual voice mail service is the right solution for you!
This service provides you with a virtual number (see chart for list of available exchanges) where your contacts can leave you unlimited messages, which you can then retrieve at any time using the method that best suits your busy lifestyle:
- By phone: Call your voice mail number directly to retrieve your messages.
- By e-mail: Our system converts your messages to Wave (.wav) format sound files and sends them to you by e-mail, giving you the caller ID name and number (if available) as the subject line.
- By Internet: Uni-Plus provides you with access to a Website where all your messages are stored in Wave format sound files. This interface, which you can access through the Internet from anywhere in the world, allows you to listen, archive, forward or recycle your messages at will.
- Virtual voice mail service: $8 per month – Virtual number included.
Additional options
- Toll free forwarding: Add a toll free number to this service and make sure potential clients across Canada and the United States can easily leave you messages as well. For a mere additional $8 per month plus usage at 5.0¢ per minute on calls received via the toll free number, Uni-Plus can also provision a toll free number to this same voice mail service.
- Cell phone notifications: Want to be notified immediately of any messages to prioritize important calls that must be answered right away? For an additional $2 monthly fee, you can receive a text message notification directly on your cell phone, indicating the caller ID name and number of the contact who left you a message.
- Optional Star calling features: Selected Star calling features are also available, as specified in the chart below.

Convert and go!
You wish to keep your present telephone number(s)? No problem! Rather than assigning you a new number, Uni-Plus can convert your existing one(s) to the service described above. There is a $40 (or less, depending on contract length) one-time charge for each number conversion.
