"Follow me" call forwarding
Your work takes you all over the place and your boss, clients, partners or family must be able to reach you at the drop of a hat? This new service is custom built for you and allows a subscriber to have his inbound calls ring on up to five (5) numbers simultaneously (within the Montreal local calling area), like your home phone, your business phone, your cell phone, your secondary residence phone and your VoIP phone. First to answer gets the call! Do we hear a "wow"?
- Follow me call forwarding service: $4 per month, allowing forwarding to 5 local numbers.
Additional options
- Virtual voice mail: For an additional $4 a month, voice mail can be added to offer the flexibility of having any unanswered call returned to Uni-Plus' virtual voice mail box by limiting the number of rings the call will make attempting to reach you. If unanswered after your predetermined number of rings, the call will be redirected to Uni-Plus' virtual voice mail box. Once the message is received, you will receive an e-mail and optional text message.
Convert and go!
You wish to keep your present telephone number? No problem! Rather than assigning you a new number, Uni-Plus can convert your existing one to the service described above. There is a $40 (or less, depending on contract length) one-time charge for each number conversion.
Additional notes
- This service requires the rerouted number to be managed by Uni-Plus. See chart for list of exchanges which can be managed by Uni-Plus.
- The term "local" refers to a call where you need not dial 1 and therefore toll charges are not applicable.
