Virtual automated attendant
The Virtual automated attendant service is the perfect solution for companies, start-ups, associations and families wanting to better manage their numerous incoming calls and make sure they are forwarded to the right person or department. The virtual automated attendant can accommodate multiple users, with the advantages of providing their contacts with a single centralized number, or greeting callers with additional information to customers on advertised products or services. It also allows you to process calls to each individual voice mail box.
Once a caller dials the phone number assigned to your Virtual automated attendant, he is greeted by an outbound message giving information about the company, association or group he has reached. The caller is then offered to dial the extension number of the individual or department he wants to reach or to press the # key to obtain the directory.

Add Star calling features and power it up!
Subscribing to selected Star calling features (see below) provides more functionality to your Vaa and turns it into a powerful tool. For example, the call forwarding feature allows you to change your virtual voice mail into an extension line, which then permits your callers to press zero and have their call routed to a number were you can be reached: home line, business line, cell phone or Uni-Plus VoIP telephone service, or ALL THOSE AT ONCE, so you can be reached anytime, anywhere! Now how cool is that?
The Virtual automated attendant can have as few as 2 or as many as 250 extensions. Competitively priced, the virtual automated attendant service is a wise and cost effective way to manage incoming calls.
- Virtual automated attendant service: basic monthly fee of $15 plus $6 per extension, plus initial activation fee (see below).
Additional options
- Service available outside the greater Montreal area: Uni-Plus can also provision a toll free number to make your Vaa accessible from anywhere in Canada and/or the United States. This option is available for a mere additional $8 per month plus usage at 5.0¢ per minute on calls received via the toll free number.
- Voice mail: Uni-Plus can add voicemail services to any extension for a mere $4 per month, per extension. Access to your phone messages by phone, by email and through our Internet interface is included.
- Cellphone notification: Each extension can be configured to get a text message showing the caller ID of all messages left in its voicemail for an additional $2 per month, per extension.
- Optional Star calling features: Selected Star calling features are also available, as specified in the chart below.
- Soft Phone: A soft phone can be added to any extension configuration. The soft phone itself incurs no monthly cost, but a one-time $40 activation fee per extension for which it is activated.

Setting-up is a breeze
- Uni-Plus customer service staff will get you started by recording your first few messages or assisting you on how to get started.
- Want to take charge? You are in complete control of the service you subscribe to from Uni-Plus. Feature changes are accessible in some cases by telephone, while others are accessible though your personalized Web interface.
Convert and go!
You wish to keep your present telephone number(s)? No problem! Rather than assigning you a new number, Uni-Plus can convert your existing one(s) to the service described above. There is a $40 (or less, depending on contract length) one-time charge for each number conversion.

- This service requires the main number(s) used for the virtual voice mail be managed by Uni-Plus. See chart for list of exchanges which can be managed by Uni-Plus.
- A soft phone can be added to any extension configuration.
