Our service reaches 95% of residential homes in Canada. We offer equal ease access, meaning a direct access to the long distance network. You need not dial a local access number and an access code to call the long distance number that you wish to reach. For domestic long distance simply dial "1" plus the number. For overseas calls, dial "011" plus the country code and foreign number that you wish to reach.
Customers subscribing strictly to long distance service pay a network access fee of $2.45. The network access fee is waived if the customer subscribes to one of the following two services: toll free 800 service or high-speed residential service.

Control your outbound long distance calls
Do you have to keep a strict control on long distance calls made from your home phone? This is where Uni-Plus can help you by offering you the possibility of using a 3 or 4 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to confirm authorization that the long distance call should be routed.
As soon as a long distance call is dialed, a confirmation tone is heard over the line, at which point you must key in your 3 or 4 digit PIN. If an incorrect number is entered, the call will not be processed. However, with the correct number, the call is immediately routed to its destination.
This not only ensures you that the calls being placed are legitimate, but will also identify the number of calls made per individual. When you receive your invoice, the calls will be sorted according to the individual holder of that access number who placed the call.
You can have as many access codes as you need. Their use will save you money while always keeping you informed on whom is using your phone.
